The hotel is seamlessly integrated within the airport complex, thereby being straightforwardly accessible to and from the terminal (either via departure or arrival floors). And all that in absolute silence, with not even the faintest sign of noise from the airport operations. The overall layout and ambiance are refreshingly simple, welcoming and sympathetic, with smooth soothing tones and nicely traditional decor with subtle elements in a relaxing no-frills atmosphere. The staff was outstandingly welcoming, diligent and helpful, especially at the reception, at the evening bar, and at the restaurant. The room was abundantly equipped, spotlessly clean, fresh and comfortable, showing further excellence from management to maintenance and cleaning personnel. All those staff members who were on duty from the evening of May 20th to the late morning of May 21st deserve uttermost praise, having provided a 5-star experience far exceeding the expectations associated to a mid-upper-ranked 4-star accommodation. Having stayed before in a direct competitor at the same airport, I can wholeheartedly recommend Sheraton outright due to the staff, ease of access, cozy comfort and overall quality, even if at a higher price. At Sheraton, you will feel welcome and well taken care of. You find smart, witty, kind, diligent professionals throughout. It may not be the glitzy Sheraton that one finds in some United States and tropical destinations, but frankly I prefer the way it is: a cozy premium business-oriented unit that makes the discerning business professional feel at home away from home, and that is the best luxury one can have. The room was comfortable and warm. Coffee machine, a safe, iron, and an ironing board was available to use. We had a showerhead in a bath option. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Open 24 hours. Free Wi-Fi is available. We did not have breakfast, but an early bird departure breakfast snack was laid out by reception, which was appreciated. The hotel is centrally situated within walking distance to train station of airport connections. Thank you very much in the German language: Danke.

With the sky train, could go between terminals in under 3mins, and also within 5mins to the Flughafen train station with easy access to other cities. S-bahn station is just minutes from the hotel, and takes about 20mins to Düsseldorf Hbf. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly, and the room clean and quiet. We had used the hotel as a quick stopover to refresh after hours of flight delays and our trip was rerouted because of flight cancellations to our original destination due to excessive snowfall, but we are happy to have chosen this hotel for such a comfortable stay!

I picked this hotel for its location. I bought the business package, which including lounge assess. It worths every penny. They serve light meal throught the day and I mainly grab a bite there on the run. Taxi stand is just across the arrival level and it is basically an elevator ride + 1 min walk from hotel to departure hall. Their Otto restaurant has nice lunch/ dinner menu with a view. My dinning experience there was good. Noice isolation is super, I didn't hear a sound even though I am on the roof of an airport !!! It is the perfect stay for a convention trip.

Really flexible and also really nice of them.
